We had met with 146 clients
We assisted those clients 344 times, obviously, some more than once
6 businesses have expanded - 1 business has changed direction
3 businesses have been able to refocus
In total we helped to create 38 new jobs and retain a further 19 jobs.
For us this was very much early days as we learned our trade in much the same way as do our clients.
As with many community led voluntary organisations the secret of success is in the level of commitment achieved by its members - this can require tough management it seems...
Regrettably, we were unable to secure the funding required to continue with this innovative project which no matter what measure you apply to gauge its success - it more than compares with any of the more established methods of job creation.
