We hold Panel meetings once a month so I guess the answer is a qualified yes, but they never, ever, last more than two hours. This is where we all meet with the Facilitator and amongst other things have a ‘brain-storming’ session when, and if, Sandy brings any client sourcing issues to the meeting. This can be great fun especially as nothing is considered too off-the-wall when it comes to ideas and occasionally a couple of those ideas really can make all the difference to a clients project. Not all client projects are ready for this and nor do they reach this point at the same time - they have to be tested by the facilitator first, usually a number of times before the point is reached when it is obvious that but-for this-one, or two things, the client is ready to go on his or her way with everything in place to give more than a fair chance of success. We are always on the look out for new panel members and there is an initial need for training in the Sirolli methodology. Nothing onerous of course but it’s very important that all panel members have at least a basic understanding of just what Enterprise Facilitation is about. Our meetings are strictly confidential and should there be a conflict of interest with a panel member, similar business perhaps, then they will leave the room for the duration of that particular session.
The project also has a Management Board which too meets on a regular basis, as the name suggests, to manage both the project and our employee, Sandy. The Chair is Peter Leyland - should you need to contact him, the mobile is 07739 902 848
